Picked up this book: The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls when staying with my in-laws on the weekend and read it on Sunday. Was a great book. Sad, and tragic, but at the same time, so inspiring. She went through so much, but she survived. She came through so much.

i read this book a while back. interestingly (and i dont remember exacts but can share the jist) she gave a speech or it was an interview, or lecture where someone asked her how she didn't hold a grudge and how it was that she wasn't angry at her parents. She said that holding a grudge would be a waste of her energy and that she loved her parents for who they were and that they did their best based on who they were. like i said, not her exact words, she said it with more eloquence than i, but i thought that was something to consider. =)
