the Pearl

Paul picked the Pearl by John Steinbeck up on a whim one day at a thrift shop and I poured through it a few nights ago. A very good read. I've only ever read one other Steinbeck the Grapes of Wrath, but after enjoying the Pearl, I'm definitely going to be on the outlook for more of his work. This is one of those stories that stays with you for days after you've read it.
